Promoting Beach Businesses
The Treasure Island & Madeira Beach Chamber of Commerce is a member-based organization representing the businesses on our beautiful islands and surrounding communities. We work to promote a healthy economic environment that helps make Treasure Island and Madeira Beach ideal places to live, work, play and do business. We understand your priorities, and work to build strong ties between your business and the larger community. At the Treasures Island & Madeira Beach Chamber of Commerce, “Your business is our business!”
Our After Hours Mixers are informal monthly gatherings, always held at a member business, designed to help you get acquainted with fellow business people and to introduce you to new venues.
Coffee and Chocolate with the President is our monthly New Member Orientation/Mixer. Here, new and seasoned members learn how the Treasure Island & Madeira Beach Chamber of Commerce can help their businesses grow and boost their brand recognition.
Seminars and workshops are added to our calendar to help bring important information and innovative business practices to our members.
Grand Openings and Ribbon Cuttings are excellent ways to invite other business people and the general public into your business to get acquainted. The Treasure Island & Madeira Beach Chamber helps promote these events, and our President and Board members participate. We invite local dignitaries to join in these festive events, too. The Chamber provides the ribbon and an over-sized pair of scissors, promotes the event on our website and social media, and we do this as a courtesy to our members. There is NO CHARGE for our Chamber to do this.
Members are encouraged to serve on Chamber committees. Chamber Ambassadors are our bridge to new and prospective members, helping explain our benefits and gathering information about members’ needs and interest. Our Tourism committee helps find new ways to bring visitors to our community, and helps our members to meet the needs of those visitors. Our EPIC committee is our Environmental Preservation effort, helping our hospitality industry to choose products and implement practices that will have long-term positive effects on our environment. Government Relations is an important way to help our members work with our municipalities on such important issues as parking, signage, and code compliance. We’re always considering new committees to meet our members’ needs, so we welcome your ideas.
“Your business is our business,” and we are committed to helping our members’ brands become familiar throughout our community.
When you join the Treasure Island & Madeira Beach Chamber of Commerce, your business is added to our online Member Directory. This listing is accessible to online search engines, and includes your business name and logo, address, phone, website, and social media links (provided by you). A photo or video is also welcome.
Business referrals are important, and the Chamber is often a resident’s or visitor’s first stop when seeking a reliable service or retail business, or when looking for restaurants or accommodations. You are encouraged to bring your company brochures and business cards for us to distribute. When inquiries come in by phone, we refer only to our members, businesses we know will treat those referrals with respect and friendliness.
